Digital Photography

I’ve always been a fan of photography and enjoyed taking pictures…and I know my way around a dark room. But until recently, I never learned how to use my digital camera. I recently took Digital Camera Basics through Westminster College’s Continuing Education department…and now I can finally take my camera off auto. Here are the results of my class assignment:

Blog Slacker

I've been slacking on my blog...been real busy: Got engaged, planning a wedding, looking for a house, buying a house, two more shows for Charley.

But my right brain has atrophied, so I've resolved to knit more, make more jewelry and write more blog entries.

New Mexico

I recently traveled to New Mexico with Charley. He was part of a group show at Giacobbe-Fritz Fine Art in Santa Fe, so I went do for the opening. I’d never been to Santa Fe before so I was excited to experience the food, architecture, art and desert…and it did not disappoint. Well we were there we ate several delicious meals (including sushi with a New Mexico flare -- complete with chillies), drank Aztec sipping chocolate, visited an Indian casino, explored old Route 66 and, of course, looked at lots of art.

Beans Gets a New Sweater

Little Beans has been working hard at potty training, but has found it difficult because of the cold weather we've been having. She starts shivering as soon as we take her outside and tries to run back inside before the desired task is completed. So, we thought we should buy her as sweater. After a lot of searching and debuting Charley and I found a sweater that we both like and was small enough for her. But the results were not what we expected.

About one minute after this picture was taken, Beans disappeared into the living room and return without the sweater on. I tried to put it on her several more time that evening but each time she was able to get out of it...Oh well, it was cute well it lasted.
